Fonds Immobilier Romand significantly reduces rent default rate

The Fonds Immobilier Romand (FIR) significantly reduced the rental loss rate and increased the portfolio value in the last financial year.

The real estate fund closed the 2022/23 financial year (reporting date: June 30) with net income of CHF 38.1 million. This represents a slight increase on the previous year's result (CHF 36.8 million). Rental income rose from CHF 78.1 million to CHF 78.8 million, while the value of the real estate portfolio increased from CHF 1.50 billion to CHF 1.57 billion. Meanwhile, the rental default rate fell from 3.17 to 1.78%. (aw)
