Hyrock has placed fewer mortgages in 2023
Mortgage and real estate provider Hyrock placed or extended mortgages with a volume of CHF 918 million last year, falling short of the previous year's figure.
Mortgage and real estate provider Hyrock is satisfied with the course of the 2023 financial year despite the difficult market situation. According to the company, a total volume of CHF 918 million was newly placed or extended. This means that Hyrock did not match the previous year's figure of CHF 1.05 billion.
According to Hyrock, CHF 349 million of the volume was attributable to bridging and follow-up financing, which corresponds to an increase of just under 30% in this category. The average loan amount per transaction was CHF 5.4 million.
Thanks to a moderate increase in margins, earnings have reached the previous year's level, Hyrock continued. The company expects the market to recover in 2024, driven by falling market interest rates and easing construction prices. (ah)
