ISS Switzerland increases sales by nine percent
The facility manager is increasingly focusing on real estate investors as a customer group.
The facility management service provider ISS Switzerland increased its revenue by CHF 9% to CHF 832 million in 2023. The Integral Facility Services division accounts for 83% of the total turnover. Infrastructural FM services (cleaning, reception and support) make up the largest segment with a share of 54%, followed by technical FM services, which account for 39% of sales and represent property and technical services. A significant change compared to the previous year is the rise of the real estate sector to the second-largest segment.
The office sector continues to account for the largest share of sales with 33%, followed by real estate with 12%. This is followed by pharmaceuticals (10%), industry and production (9%), transportation and infrastructure (8%), retail and wholesale (7%), healthcare (6%) and the public sector (5%). The food & beverage category and other sectors complete the revenue distribution with a total of 10%.
"In its strategic focus on growth and diversification, ISS is now positioning real estate investors as a central core segment," says the company. The company sees "considerable development potential" here. (aw)
