The fund management company Baloise Asset Management Ltd is planning a capital increase for the Baloise Swiss Property Fund at the beginning of September 2024 to acquire up to six properties by means of an asset transfer. The portfolio, which has a market value of around CHF 125 million, is owned by Baloise Life Ltd. According to Baloise, the Finma approval required for the transaction has not yet been granted. The acquisition of the properties would allow the fund to further diversify its portfolio, according to a press release.

The terms of the issue are to be published in June 2024. "The fund management company reserves the right to postpone the capital increase depending on market developments," the statement continues.
