Plazza significantly increases rental income
As one of the major projects contributed income for the first time, Plazza increased its real estate income by a total of % 12 in the first half of the year.
Plazza's real estate income rose by CHF 12 1TP3 thousand to CHF 15.0 million in the first half of the year, while operating income before depreciation and revaluation increased by CHF 8 1TP3 thousand to CHF 11.3 million. A key reason for the increase was the first income contributed by the project in Crissier. Income from revaluation increased to CHF 14.5 million, CHF 7.2 million of which is attributable to project progress (previous year: CHF 6.7 million). The existing portfolio was revalued by 0.9 %, following a devaluation of 0.7 % in the previous year. Including this effect, profit after tax increased from CHF 9.5 million to CHF 20.5 million in the first half of 2024.
The vacancy rate in the portfolio increased slightly from 2.7 to 2.9 %. Including development properties, the vacancy rate was 4.0 % (previous year 2.9 %). In the Crissier project, letting has begun with the acceptance of the first building plots. In Regensdorf, the results of the preliminary review were incorporated into the design plan and this was submitted.
For the year as a whole, Plazza continues to expect an operating result before depreciation, amortization and revaluation in the range of 10 % to 15 % above the previous year's figure. (aw)
