The 1291 Investment Foundation increased its equity by CHF 78 million in the second half of the year. This was achieved by subscribing to new entitlements from the dividend of CHF 20 million in the "Real Estate Switzerland" investment group and by increasing the capital of both investment groups in December. New capital amounting to around CHF 44 million was subscribed to the "Real Estate Switzerland" investment group and CHF 14 million to the "Sustainable Real Estate Projects Switzerland" investment group.

The fresh capital will be used to expand the real estate portfolio, invest in existing properties and reduce debt financing. The "Sustainable Real Estate Projects Switzerland" investment group will use the inflow of funds for investments in the two ongoing new construction projects in Wil (SG) and Effretikon (ZH).

As at the end of November 2024, the market values of the real estate portfolios were CHF 1.38 billion for the "Real Estate Switzerland" investment group and CHF 101 million for the "Sustainable Real Estate Projects Switzerland" investment group. (aw)
