Comunus SICAV completes issue

The fund achieves its issue target and sees this as confirmation of its plan to go public in the first half of 2025.

Comunus SIVAC has raised CHF 59 million as part of its latest capital increase, thereby achieving the communicated target. According to the information provided, the issue was significantly oversubscribed. With the fresh funds, the fund says it will reach gross assets of almost CHF 700 million in January. The capital increase took place from November 25 to December 6.

The proceeds will be used to purchase a predominantly residential portfolio in the Lake Geneva region. According to Comunus, some of the properties are to be developed in order to realize value gains in the coming years. The fresh funds will also be used to reduce the debt ratio and for projects.

Comunus raised a total of CHF 115 million in the capital increases in 2024. The IPO is scheduled to take place in the first half of 2025. (aw)
