Halter AG has heralded the start of the construction phase for the "Waldstadt im Pantli" project in Schaffhausen with the official ground-breaking ceremony. The company is realizing the project, which is being built on a forest clearing, in collaboration with Dost Architektur GmbH. 214 condominiums with 2.5 to 5.5 rooms are to be built on 47,600 square meters. "The 'Waldstadt im Pantli' project is making a valuable contribution to urban development," said Mayor Peter Neukomm at the ceremony. The development should serve as a model for future construction projects and "strengthen Schaffhausen as a location for sustainable and innovative living".

The housing mix is aimed at families, couples, singles and commuters. The development can be reached via a direct highway connection and a new dedicated bus stop. An integrated kindergarten and a daycare center are also part of the concept, as are meeting zones and communal facilities. According to Halter, a particular highlight is that all apartments are designed with as many views of the surrounding nature as possible. The project is being developed in accordance with the SNBS standard.

The planned construction time for the first stage is around two and a half years. The first owners should be able to move into their apartments in 2026.
