Ecoreal Schweizerische Immobilien AST: On course for growth
The Investment Foundation announces a portfolio transaction and reaches total assets of over two billion francs.

The Ecoreal Swiss Real Estate Investment Foundation believes it is well on track with the implementation of its growth plans. According to the Board of Trustees, shortly after the acquisition of a real estate portfolio worth over CHF 100 million at the end of 2024, a Minergie-certified and fully let commercial property in the canton of Bern was acquired for the Suisseselect investment group as part of a sale and leaseback transaction. The entire Ecoreal portfolio now comprises total assets of over CHF 2 billion. The Board of Trustees emphasizes that both investment groups are open to new capital to finance the further expansion of the portfolio.
The total assets of the Suisseselect investment group increased by CHF 38 million to CHF 613 million in the fourth quarter of 2024. The investment return for the first three months of the 2024/25 financial year is 1.04 %. This comprises the return on income (based on net income) of 1.02 % and the return on changes in value (based on unrealized capital gains) of 0.02%. The return on income improved by 7 basis points compared to the same period of the previous year; the rent loss rate continues to show a downward trend. During the reporting period, Lidl Switzerland opened its 186th store (1,100 m² of sales space) at Stettbacherhof in Dübendorf (ZH) in November 2024. The striking commercial and office building is the largest property in the Suisseselect investment group's portfolio and had previously undergone extensive refurbishment.
The total assets of the Suissecore Plus investment group increased by CHF 59 million to CHF 1,450 million in the first quarter of the new financial year. The investment return for the first three months of the 2024/25 financial year is 0.79 %. This is made up of the return on income (based on net income) of 0.77% and the return on changes in value of 0.02 %. The income yield rose by 10 basis points compared to the same period of the previous year; as with the Suisseselect investment group, the rental loss rate continues to fall. (bw)
