Caretta Weidmann is undergoing a change of management 51 years after it was founded. According to a press release, Mauro Caretta is withdrawing from the company completely and transferring his shares. The current co-owner Felix Hegetschweiler will be joined by five new partners, namely Stephanie Trachsel (Commercial Director and CFO), Ninja Fleischmann (Head of Execution Basel), Rešat Bangoji (Head of Execution Zurich), Alex Delev (Head of Execution Zurich) and Lars Steffen (Head of Construction Economics and Deputy CEO). "The new partners will provide fresh impetus and realize long-term visions," writes the company. For example, the new ownership will focus more on sustainable construction projects.

Although Caretta Weidmann intends to remain true to its core competencies in construction management and general planning, it also intends to expand into new business areas such as total service mandates, client representation and development mandates. (aw)
