Implenia has landed several projects in Switzerland, Germany and Austria with an order volume of over CHF 150 million. Swiss data center provider Green, for example, has commissioned Implenia as general contractor to build another high-performance data center. At the company's headquarters in Lupfig, 5,526 sqm of new data center space will be created. Construction started at the beginning of January and the data center is scheduled to go into operation in 2026. Implenia has already built two data centers and an office building for Green in Dielsdorf, and another data center is currently under construction there. Implenia will have already built a total of seven data centers in the greater Zurich area and continues to see great growth potential in this market.

In Basel, a consortium with an Implenia share of 50% has also been awarded the contract by Basel University Hospital for the master builder work on the new Clinic 2 building. The work should be completed by 2030. The new building on the Health Campus will ensure optimized hospital processes, earthquake safety, fire protection and greater comfort for patients.

Several transport infrastructure projects in Switzerland

Implenia is realizing a public transport project for the canton of Geneva and the municipality of Le Grand-Saconnex as part of a consortium consisting of Implenia (40%) and Piasio (60%). A new streetcar line is to be built on Route de Ferney between Route des Morillons and Route François-Peyrot in the municipality of Le Grand-Saconnex. Work is scheduled to start in fall 2025. And with the renovation of the Hagenholz Tunnel (Zurich Airport) on behalf of SBB and the redesign of the Versoix junction with the Route des Romelles in the municipality of Bellevue in the canton of Geneva for Astra, Implenia has won two further contracts to modernize and expand the transport infrastructure in Switzerland.

Two orders in Germany and Austria

Outside Germany, Implenia also reports the contract to build a sustainable façade for the new Heidekreis Clinic in Bad Fallingbostel in northern Germany, which is scheduled for completion at the end of 2028, and the alliance contract for the main construction lot of the Imst-Haiming hydropower plant in Austria for Tiwag-Tiroler Wasserkraft AG.
