Implenia reorganizes responsibilities
The construction group had already announced plans to merge its construction and real estate divisions some time ago. Implenia is now announcing the completion of the merger and providing further details on the personnel and structural realignment.

Implenia restructured its real estate division on April 1. As announced the former Real Estate and Buildings divisions were merged into one division under the leadership of Adrian Wyss, the former Head of Real Estate. This reduces the number of divisions to three: Buildings, Civil Engineering and Service Solutions. Switzerland's largest construction group is now announcing further personnel details and changes in responsibilities between the divisions.
Christian Bandi heads development in German-speaking Switzerland
The services of the former Real Estate division will be bundled in the Real Estate Development business unit under the management of Marc Lyon. Lyon will also head the Real Estate Development unit for French-speaking Switzerland, while the same department for German-speaking Switzerland will be headed by Christian Bandi. Jelena Radovic has been given the task of driving forward the expansion of Implenia Landbank with the Transactions team, among other things.
Building Construction German-speaking Switzerland under the management of Marc Brülhart
Building Construction is divided into the Building Construction Switzerland and Building Construction Germany business units. Building Construction Switzerland is headed by Adrian Wyss and also includes the Building Production and Modernization units. "In this context, there will be certain adjustments," explains Implenia: the new construction business in German-speaking Switzerland will be brought together in the Building Construction German-speaking Switzerland unit under the management of Marc Brülhart. The organization in the regions of German-speaking Switzerland will remain unchanged. The Building Construction Western Switzerland unit will remain under the management of Philippe Kaufmann, who will continue to lead modernization. Roman Müller will take over responsibility for the Construction Production unit, which now also includes timber construction in addition to master builders.
Wincasa moves into the service sector
Another new feature is that Wincasa is now part of the Service Solutions Division (formerly the Specialties Division), in which Implenia bundles its engineering and management expertise.
The organization in Germany will remain unchanged under the management of Matthias Jacob and Lukas Czapla. Façade technology will now also be integrated into the existing structure as an additional unit.
According to Wyss, the changes will result in added value for customers: "They will benefit from an end-to-end range of services from a single source, increased innovative strength and even better solutions in terms of cost-effectiveness and sustainability," he says. The range of services offered by the new construction division covers the entire value chain and extends from the initial analysis and planning steps through to the turnkey building or site. Real estate development remains the core business. The offering as a service developer for customers in Switzerland will be further expanded, according to the statement. (aw)
