Construction contract law: Federal Council opens consultation for revision 

On August 19, 2020, the Federal Council opened the consultation procedure for the revision of construction contract law in order to improve the situation of builders and, in particular, homeowners and condominium owners. This was prompted by several parliamentary initiatives, which called in particular for the liability for construction defects to be amended, according to Froriep Lawyers.
